Zelensky commended Trump for his position and mentioned discussions about potential U.S. security guarantees for Ukraine post-conflict, which may include additional military support.

Zelensky also expressed concern over Moldova, fearing that Russian influence could destabilize the region, especially ahead of its upcoming elections. Concurrently, NATO members Estonia and Poland have sought consultations after incidents involving Russian airspace violations. In response to escalating tensions, Trump proposed that NATO countries should intercept Russian aircraft that breach their airspace. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov dismissed Trump’s comments, asserting that they did not align with Russia’s self-image.

Zelensky’s call for international regulations on AI in weaponry emphasized the urgent need to address emerging military technologies in an era he described as the most destructive arms race in history.
