Jota Silva: Nottingham Forest allow Portuguese forward to join Turkish club Besitkas on a season-long loan with the option to buy
Nottingham Forest forward Jota Silva has joined Besitkas on a season-long loan.
The Turkish Super Lig club have the option to make the 26-year-old’s move a permanent one at the end of the season.
Portugal international Silva joined Forest from Guimaraes in August 2024 on a four-year contract.
He scored four goals and provided three assists in 38 games in all competitions for Forest last season.
Forest made 13 signings in the summer including England Under-21 forward Omari Hutchinson from Ipswich Town for a fee of £37.5m.
Former Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou was appointed as Forest head coach earlier this week, replacing the sacked Nuno Espirito Santo.
